(A) The Commission shall consist of seven voting members appointed by the City Council.
(B) On the initial Commission, three members shall be appointed for a term of two years and four members shall be appointed for a term of three years to establish staggered terms. Thereafter, all members shall be appointed for a term of five years. Beginning July 1, 2011, all terms will expire on December 31 of the term expiration year.
(C) The City Administrator or the Administrator's designee shall be an ex officio member of the Commission. The member shall have no voting privileges.
(D) The City Administrator shall be responsible for staff support of the Clean and Beautiful Commission.
(E) The City Council shall fill vacancies for the unexpired terms of any of the members of the Commission.
(F) Members of the Commission may be removed by a majority vote of the City Council.
(G) A member's term in office shall commence with the first regular Commission meeting following appointment, and terminate with the regular Commission meeting at which the successor takes office.
