§ 30-04 Adjourned Meetings.
   (A)   Lack of quorum. Should a quorum of the City Council not be in attendance at the time for holding any regular meeting, the Council members in attendance may adjourn the meeting to any day and hour prior to the time of the holding of the next regular meeting. Such adjourned meeting, if a quorum be then in attendance, shall have the same force and effect as if held on the regular day. ('80 Code, § 2-21)
   (B)   Continuation of meetings. If at any regular meeting of the City Council, or at any adjourned regular meeting thereof, there shall be such a volume of business for its consideration that the same cannot be conveniently disposed of at such meeting, there may be an adjournment of such meeting to any day and hour prior to the holding of the next regular meeting. Such adjourned meetings, and re-adjournments thereof, shall have the same force and effect as if held on the regular day. ('80 Code, § 2-22)
