If an alleged nuisance is not properly abated within the period established under the provisions of this chapter, upon the concurrence of the code enforcement committee, the property owner, if not notified of the hearing date initially, shall be served with a written notice of a hearing on the abatement of a public nuisance, in accordance with provisions contained herein by the community development director or designee.
