5.16.070   Application—Review.
Upon receipt of a completed special event permit application, the city shall refer the application to the chief of police, director of development services, director of community services, assistant city manager and the fire chief, for their review and determination of compliance of the proposed special event with the criteria for issuance set forth by their department. The departments shall forward the results of their review and determination, including any comments, to the community services department within ten (10) working days. The city council shall review and approve or deny all special event permits with an estimated attendance of more than one thousand (1,000) and/or with a request to close streets. (Ord. 394 § 1, 2020)
