5.08.220   Violation—Penalty.
A.   Any person violating any provision of this chapter shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and subject to a fine of not more than five hundred dollars ($500.00) or both such fine and imprisonment.
B.   Pursuant to subsections (b) and (c) of Section 326.5 of the Penal Code, any person receiving a profit, wage, or salary from any bingo game authorized by Section 19 of Article IV of the State Constitution and this chapter shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be punishable by a fine not to exceed ten thousand dollars ($10,000.00).
C.   The city attorney may bring an action in a court of competent jurisdiction to enjoin a violation of Section 326.5 of the California Penal Code or of this chapter. (Ord. 445 § 1, 2024; Ord. 117 § 23, 1993)
