1.13.080   Extensions of time to abate.
All requests for extensions must be made in writing and present a reasonable hardship. The enforcement official may grant a one-time extension at his or her discretion after payment of the civil fine due. The extension shall not exceed thirty (30) days unless the matter is referred to the community development director, or designee, for additional time. The community development director, or designee, may grant additional time as determined in his or her reasonable discretion, considering all relevant facts and circumstances of the hardship. If the case has been referred to the hearing officer, extensions may not be granted. (Ord. 283 § 2, 2008)
