(A) Pursuant to I.C. 33-19-6-20, amending I.C. 33-19-5-1, I.C. 33-19-5-2 and I.C. 33-19-7-4, the Town Court is authorized to impose a late payment fee of $25 on defendants who fail to timely pay court costs, fees, fines or civil penalties in each criminal infraction or ordinance violation case filed in the Town Court.
(B) The Yorktown Town Court shall collect the late payment fee and shall monthly pay the amounts collected to the Yorktown Clerk-Treasurer.
