§ 33.02 CLOTHING ALLOWANCE FOR FULL TIME OFFICERS AND RESERVES OF POLICE DEPARTMENT.
   (A)    The amount of clothing allowance for all full time officers is set at $1,200 per year. The amount of clothing allowance is set at $300 for reserve officers after one full year on the department, to be handled in the same manner as full time officers. The clothing allowance may be used for clothing, cleaning of uniforms or any equipment needed to perform their duties. Inventory must be kept by the Marshal for all items purchased and signed for by all officers and reserves. Upon termination, be it voluntary or mandatory, all items in the inventory must be turned over to the Yorktown Police Department. There shall be one payment made in the second pay week of the month of January.
   (B)   New employees starting after January will have the payment prorated to the time employed. Payment shall be made from the appropriate funds and shall be declared as income and stated on the employee's W-2 Form.
