(A) Where public water supply is within reasonable distance, as determined by the Plan Commission, the subdivider or developer shall construct a system of water mains and connect with such public water supply and provide a connection for each lot. Public water distribution systems shall meet the requirements of the State Board of Health and the County Health Department and shall include all appurtenances determined by the Commission to be necessary for fire protection.
(B) Where public water supply is not available, each principal building shall be provided with an individual private water supply, which shall fully meet all requirements of the applicable state, county and town regulations.
(C) In all cases where it has been determined by testing and other information that individual water supplies from private wells are not feasible or acceptable, a public water distribution system, belonging to the town or some other agency, shall be mandatory.
