§ 30.03 RESIDENCY REQUIREMENT.
   (A)   To be eligible to run for office of Council member, a person must be a resident of the district he or she seeks to represent, be a citizen of the United States and be of legal voting age.
   (B)   A Council member may move from his or her residence in their respective district of election to another district without vacating his or her seat, but such Council member shall not be eligible for re- election from the district in which he or she no longer resides.
   (C)   Any Council member who moves his or her place of residence outside the corporate limits of the town vacates his or her seat on the Town Council and shall be replaced according to the applicable Indiana statute.
