For purposes of this subchapter the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
HANDICAP ACCESSIBLE PARKING SPACES. The parking spaces that conform with the provisions of the Indiana Code regarding parking facilities reserved for persons with physical disabilities, specifically I.C. 5-16-9-4.
MOTOR VEHICLE. The meaning set forth in I.C. 9-13-2-105.
PERSON WITH A PHYSICAL DISABILITY. A person who has been issued a placard under I.C. 9-14-5 or under the laws of another state, or a registration plate of a person with a physical disability or a disabled veteran, issued by the Bureau of Motor Vehicles under I.C. 9-18-22, or under the laws of another state.
