Pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 76 of the Acts of Indiana General Assembly for the year 1913, the town establishes, equips, owns, operates and maintains a waterworks, together with such equipment and with such appurtenances as may be necessary to serve the town and its inhabitants with water for public and domestic use.
