189.01 COMPOSITION, TERM, VACANCY AND DUTY.
   The City Planning Commission shall be composed of seven City residents, no more than two of whom may be officers or employees of the City. All members of the Commission shall be appointed by the Mayor with the advice and consent of Council. The term of each of the members of the Commission shall be for four years, or until his successor is appointed and qualified. The chairman of the Planning Commission shall promptly notify the Mayor concerning vacancies in the Commission which occur otherwise than by the expiration of a term, and such vacancy shall be filled for the unexpired term. The Commission shall be attached to and function within the Department of Economic and Community Development.
