Part 17, Uniform Construction, Building and Housing Code, is hereby amended by changing all references to all duties of the Fire Department thereunder to the Department of Fire/Rescue Services and the Department of Economic and Community Development and by changing all references to all responsibilities of the Fire Chief thereunder to the Fire Chief and the Director of Economic and Community Development with the exception that Articles 1761 and 1763 shall remain under the sole control of the Department of Fire/Rescue Services and the responsibility of the Fire Chief.
