§ 153.17 OFFICERS.
   The commission shall, as soon as possible after January 1 of each year, elect from its membership a chairperson, one or more vice-chairperson(s) and an executive committee member at-large. The commission shall appoint a secretary who may be an officer, employee or a member of the commission. Officers shall be elected to serve for terms of one year, commencing January 1 of each year, and shall continue in office until successors are elected and qualified. Officers of the commission shall serve without pay, but officers may be reimbursed for travel and other incidental expenses; subject, however, to the rules, practices and procedures applicable to boards, agencies and commissions of the county.
