The violation of any provision of this code shall constitute a misdemeanor. Each day the violation shall continue shall be deemed a separate offense. In the event of any violation or proposed violation of this code, the fire official or official’s duly authorized agent or representative or any neighboring property owner may apply to a court of competent jurisdiction for injunctive relief or other appropriate proceedings to prevent, abate, enjoin or correct the threatened or actual violation. The remedies provided under this section shall be cumulative to any other remedies provided by law.
