§ 31.25 INSPECTION OF PUBLIC RECORDS AND FEES; RECORDS MANAGEMENT.
   (A)   Any person has the right to request, copy, or inspect any public record of a public body, except as otherwise provided by S.C. Code § 30-4-10 et seq.
   (B)   Pursuant to S.C. Code § 30-4-30(b), the county can establish and collect fees not to exceed the actual cost of searching for or making copies of records.
   (C)   The county must retain FOIA records for three years as approved by the S.C. Department of Archives and History.
