Any person, firm or corporation violating any provision of this chapter or any rule or regulation promulgated pursuant thereto shall be guilty of a misdemeanor or felony as provided in S.C. Code § 16-11-700, as amended by the South Carolina Solid Waste Policy and Management Act of 1991, which statute is hereby adopted by reference mutatis mutandis, and upon conviction shall be punished by a fine or imprisonment as provided by S.C. Code § 16-11-700.
