The committee shall elect from its membership the chairperson and vice-chairperson. Officers shall be elected to serve a one-year term commencing January 1 of each year, and shall continue in office until their successors are elected and qualified. The role of secretary to the committee will be filled by a representative of the county government designated by the county manager.
