(A) (1) The county is not required to transfer an employee to another position. However, transfer opportunities may be made available to employees as vacancies occur or as special requests and circumstances warrant as long as the employee has the qualifications, education and minimum requirements for the position.
(2) Transfers shall be made only with the agreement of department directors involved and the approval of the County Manager or his/her designee.
(B) Transferred employee shall be required to serve a six-month probationary period in the new position.
