Sec. 5-15.207.   Reimbursement of damages.
   Whenever such a charge is pending before any court, the County officer, department head, or employee in charge of or in possession of such damaged, destroyed, or mutilated County property is hereby ordered to furnish the office of the District Attorney with a complete statement of the financial damages or losses to the County caused by the offense. The purpose of this directive is to inform the court before which a charge is pending and to encourage it to order the person convicted to reimburse the County in the amount of the damages sustained as a condition of probation, if probation is granted.
