11-7-14: INSPECTIONS:
   A.   Inspection Required: All work done in constructing improvements and all materials furnished shall be subject to the approval of the city.
   B.   Access To Work Areas: City personnel shall have access to work at all times during the construction and shall be furnished with each and every reasonable facility for ascertaining that the materials as used and the workmanship are in accordance with the requirements of this title. (1973 Code § 16.24.140)
   C.   Inspection Fees: Prior to the commencement of construction, the developer shall pay to the city clerk the cost for the inspection of the work and testing of the materials as listed on the city of Yerington fee schedule.
The costs of improvements as such shall be based on the estimated construction cost or on a construction contract if awarded prior to the filing of the final map with the city council. (Ord. 03-13, 1-12-2004)
   D.   Construction Prior To Approval: If work is done prior to approval of improvement plans or prior to inspection of improvements, it is done at the risk and peril of the developer.
   E.   Reinspection: When a contractor calls for an inspection and the test fails, it shall be the contractor's/developer's responsibility to pay for any retests and added inspection costs resulting therefrom. (1973 Code § 16.24.140)
