A. Permission Required: When a large quantity of water is desired for filling a swimming pool or for other purposes requiring one thousand (1,000) gallons or more of water, arrangements shall be made with the city prior to taking such water. Permission to take water in such quantities shall be given only if it can be safely delivered and if other customers will not be inconvenienced.
B. Penalty: Any person who wilfully violates this section and takes any such large quantity of water without first obtaining permission from the city shall be punished as provided in section 1-4-1 of this code. (1973 Code § 13.08.100)
