A. Application For Discontinuance: If the owner of any premises on which water is being used desires to discontinue the use of water from any service, he shall make an application for that purpose at the office of the city clerk.
B. Water Rents: After the date of the receipt of such application, the water rents accruing for such service shall cease for the period for which such service shall be shut off, providing the period of such discontinuance be not less than one month. (1973 Code § 13.08.070)
