Any person violating any provision of this chapter is guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be punished as provided in section 1-4-1 of this code. In addition, the municipal court judge may order that any coasters, skateboards, roller skates, roller blades, scooters, motorized skateboards and similar devices used in violation of this chapter be impounded and retained until further order of the court.
