6-14-1: USE RESTRICTED:
   A.   Human-Propelled Devices: It is unlawful for any person to use coasters, skateboards, roller skates, roller blades, scooters and similar human-propelled devices, upon any of the following streets, except while crossing a street within a crosswalk and, when so crossing, such person shall have all the rights and shall be subject to all the duties applicable to pedestrians on Main Street, between Bridge Street and Goldfield Avenue.
   B.   Motorized Devices: It is unlawful for any person to use coasters, skateboards, roller skates, roller blades, scooters, motorized skateboards, and similar devices, except motorized devices used by the handicapped, upon any sidewalk located along the following street within the city: Main Street, between Bridge Street and Goldfield Avenue. No use of any sidewalk shall impair the right of way of a pedestrian.
   C.   Exception: It is unlawful for any person to use any motorized devices on any sidewalks anywhere within the city, except those motorized devices used by the handicapped such as motorized or electrically operated wheelchairs and carts. (1973 Code § 10.61.010; amd. 2001 Code)
