Any person who wilfully and knowingly violates any provision of this chapter is guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be punished as provided in section 1-4-1 of this code. In addition to the penalty provided for in section 1-4-1 of this code, the violator is also responsible for all associated costs of response and fire suppression caused by the violation. Each day on which a violation occurs constitutes a separate offense. (Ord. 14-03, 11-24-2014)
