866.01 DEFINITION OF TAXICAB.

As used in this chapter, “taxicab” means a mechanically propelled vehicle that is not operated on fixed tracks and that is used or advertised to be used in the occupation of carrying passengers for hire along other than a fixed route with no fixed or definite schedule.
