SECTION 67. POWER OF INITIATIVE AND REFERENDUM.

The electors of the Village shall have power to propose by initiative petition any ordinance or resolution the Council is competent to enact, and by referendum petition the repeal of any ordinance or resolution except as otherwise prescribed by this Charter. To be valid each initiative or referendum petition must be signed by ten percent of the registered electors.
