SECTION 34. VILLAGE TREASURER.
   The Council shall appoint a Treasurer who shall hold office at the pleasure of the Council. The Treasurer shall be the custodian of all moneys of the Village and shall keep and preserve the same in such manner and in such place or places as shall be determined by the Council. The treasurer shall pay out money on warrants issued by the Manager. In addition to such duties, the treasurer shall perform such other duties as may be required by the Council as well as such as may be required of Village Treasurers by the general laws of the State applicable to villages and not inconsistent with this Charter or with any ordinance or resolution that may be passed by the Council.
