SECTION 16. CLERK OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL.

The Council shall appoint a Clerk of the Council who shall hold office at the pleasure of the Council. The Clerk shall attend all meetings of the Council, keep an indexed record of its proceedings, and perform such other clerical duties as may be required by the Council.
