SECTION 14. INDUCTION OF THE COUNCIL INTO OFFICE; MEETINGS.

Council members shall begin their terms of office on the first day of January following their election. They shall take the oath of office on or before January first. The Mayor or Village Solicitor shall administer the oath of office for the newly elected Council.
