290.02 MAYOR'S COMPENSATION.

The Mayor shall be paid one thousand, five hundred dollars ($1,500) a year. The Acting Mayor shall be paid twenty-five dollars ($25.00) for each court session held in the absence of the Mayor, this sum to be deducted from the Mayor's compensation. During no calendar year shall the total compensation of the Mayor and Acting Mayor exceed one thousand, five hundred dollars ($1,500).
