282.01 ESTABLISHMENT; PURPOSE.
   (a)   There is hereby established the Design Advisory Commission which shall be an advisory and consultative body and which shall serve as a resource for Village Council, its boards and commissions, the Village Manager and his or her designated staff and Village- related boards, commissions, enterprises and organizations. Its mission is to achieve an overview of Village-related areas and projects for the purpose of rendering advice about the visual and (related) functional impact of matters concerning the Village. This refers to choices about various materials, plans, colors, products and projects (i.e. street furniture, parks, walking/skate paths, signage, color selections, Village buildings, etc.).
   (b)   The Design Advisory Commission is authorized to review all requests for new or modified signs within the Village-owned grassy area from 237 Corry St. (currently known as the Ehman Building) to the Riding Center, 1117 East Hyde Road, Miami Township.
