1062.03 LITTLE MIAMI SCENIC TRAIL.
   (a)   Modes of Transportation. Use of the Little Miami Scenic Trail (hereinafter referred to as the Trail) may include, but is not limited to, bicycles, horses, walking, hiking, wheelchairs, scooters, snow skis, skates and skateboards. Only human powered modes of transport shall be used. Stunt maneuvers or other operation in a manner unsafe for the operator or other Trail users is prohibited. Horse use is restricted to unpaved portions of the Trail except on bridges or road crossings or as otherwise posted.
   (b)   Speed Limits. No person shall exceed a speed of twenty miles per hour on the Trail unless otherwise posted.
   (c)   Signs, Signals and Crossings. No person shall fail to obey any posted signs or signals. Pedestrians have the right-of-way over all other forms of transport on the Trail. Vehicles have the right-of-way at intersections.
   (d)   Motorized Vehicles Prohibited. No motorized vehicles are permitted on the Trail. Use of motorized wheelchairs is permitted by persons who require such services in order to be mobile. Emergency, law enforcement, maintenance and other governmental agency vehicles are permitted on the Trail.
   (e)   Passing. Any person passing another person traveling in the same direction along the Trail shall announce or signal his or her intentions before passing. No person shall pass another Trail user in a manner which endangers the person passing or any other Trail user.
   (f)   Camping. Camping or sleeping along the Trail is not permitted except in areas designated for that use or with the written permission of a responsible agent of the Village.
   (g)   Staging Areas. Designated staging areas are provided at several locations along the Trail to provide parking and other facilities for Trail users. Overnight parking in these areas is by permit only. Loitering in or about vehicles or restrooms is prohibited.
   (h)   Law Enforcement, Emergency and Maintenance Vehicles. Law enforcement, emergency and maintenance vehicles have the right-of-way on the Trail. Blocking, obstructing or impeding the free passage of such vehicles is prohibited.
   (i)   Unsafe Equipment and Operation. No person shall knowingly operate an unsafe vehicle on the Trail. No person shall operate any vehicle in a manner which endangers the operator, other Trail users, the park or the Trail itself or any adjoining public or private property.
   (j)   Encroachment on Private Land. Most lands adjacent to the Trail are private property, with the exception of public parks, staging areas and rights-of-way. No person shall trespass from the Trail onto private property.
   (k)   Conduct. No person using the Trail shall adversely affect or interfere with the right of adjacent landowners and tenants to privacy or the quiet enjoyment of their land or leasehold.
   (l)   Other Rules and Regulations. All Trail users are also subject to any applicable sections of the Ohio Revised Code and these Codified Ordinances.
