§ 1420.99 PENALTY; EQUITABLE REMEDIES.
   (a)   Whoever violates any of the provisions of this chapter, including the OBC, as adopted in § 1420.01, or fails to comply with any lawful order issued pursuant thereto, is guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be fined not less than one hundred dollars ($100.00) nor more than two hundred fifty dollars ($250.00) or imprisoned not more than 30 days, or both, for each offense. A separate offense shall be deemed committed each day during or on which a violation or noncompliance occurs or continues. In addition, the violator shall pay all costs and expenses involved in the case.
   (b)   The city may institute injunction proceedings in Common Pleas Court to abate the nuisance of failure to cease work after receipt of a stop work order as referred to in § 1420.05(g).
