§ 1064.01 PURPOSE; SCOPE.

(a) The purpose of this chapter is to protect the emergency services of the Police and Fire Divisions of the city from misuse by responding to defective alarm systems and excessive false alarms.

(b) This chapter governs and regulates alarm systems, alarm users and alarm businesses. This chapter also provides penalties for excessive false alarms and provides regulatory provisions for enforcement.
