§ 1042.26 TESTING OF METERS; CHARGE.
   (a)   The Division of Water and Wastewater will test all of its meters on a schedule which will provide for the testing of each meter once in five years. The Division will guarantee the accuracy of the meters against overcharge within two percent. Proper refunds will be made for charges based on a reading of a meter which is shown to overcharge the consumer. No charge for the scheduled testing of meters will be levied against the consumer.
   (b)   Where a consumer so demands, in writing, the Division will make an unscheduled test of the consumer’s meter. A charge, as set forth in the fee schedule in Part Two - Title Twelve, Chapter 298 of these Codified Ordinances, will be levied against the consumer for such testing when the meter is found to be accurate within two percent.
