All services of any size installed by commercial and industrial firms for fire protection or other uses, and of a size of two inches and larger, must be provided with proper gate valves and check valves approved by the Division of Water and Wastewater and the Division of Fire. The entire cost thereof shall be paid by the consumer. In lieu of providing a meter, the service may be connected to a sprinkler alarm system. Such unmetered sprinkler alarm system shall be subject to inspection, as directed by the City Manager. Each such customer shall pay a fee as set forth in the fee schedule in Part Two - Title Twelve, Chapter 298 of these Codified Ordinances.
