In all cases where it is possible to do so, sewer and water lines shall be installed in separate ditches in accordance with the regulations of the Greene County Combined Health District. In cases where it is necessary that a water service be laid in the same ditch with the sanitary sewer lateral, a shelf must be cut in the side of the ditch to permit the pipe to lay on solid ground at the proper level of water service, and the pipe shall be securely pegged in place.
