The presiding officer of the Mayor’s Court, through the presiding officer’s authorized delegate may issue a capias to require the attendance of a person failing to appear in the Mayor’s Court as ordered. Failing to appear shall be a minor misdemeanor and shall be punishable by a fine established in accordance with the most current schedule of fines adopted by the City Council. A separate offense shall be deemed committed for each day a person fails to appear.
