137.05 AUXILIARY POLICE UNIT.
   (a)   The Police Department may have from time to time, if deemed necessary by the City Manager, a volunteer Auxiliary Police Unit, consisting of such number of members as provided by Ordinance of Council, under the supervision of the Chief of Police, and subject to such regulation as approved by Council.
   (b)   The City Manager may appoint, if deemed necessary, the members of the Auxiliary Police Unit. At any time during such appointment such appointed members may be removed by the City Manager. (Ord. 5-2001. Passed 1-16-01.)
