A "half story" shall mean the space under a sloping roof having access from the floor below where the top of the rafter at the outside face of the exterior wall is not more than three (3) feet above the top of the floor/ceiling joist on which it rests. The outside wall shall therefore only be required to meet the setback requirements of the story below.
