The office of the Community Development Director and Residential Building Official is hereby established. The Community Development Director and Residential Building Official shall be under the jurisdiction of the City Manager and shall be appointed by the City Manager.

NOTE: All of the references to the Building Inspector, Housing Inspector, and other titles that have, from time to time, been given to the individual filling this position or performing the duties under PART THIRTEEN should be changed to Community Development Director wherever found. All of the references to the Building Commissioner, and other titles that have, from time to time, been given to the individual filling this position as referenced in PART THIRTEEN BUILDING CODE and PART ELEVEN-PLANNING AND ZONING CODE, should also be changed to Residential Building Official wherever found.
