1183.12 LENGTH OF SIDE YARD.
Where the entire length of a side yard, as measured parallel to the adjoining side lot line adjacent to the side walls of a building, exceeds sixty feet, the required minimum side yard setback for that portion of the building whose length exceeds sixty feet, shall be increased by one and one-half inches for each foot that such length exceeds sixty feet. If the entire side wall is on a single plane, the setback for the entire wall shall be increased. If the side wall of the building is on differing planes, sixty continuous feet of the side wall may be at the minimum setback of the zoning district in which it located and any portion of the wall in excess of sixty feet must be equal to or greater than the more restrictive setback.
