Private radio towers and antenna, wind turbines, solar panels, and other alternative energy source installations, mechanical or non-mechanical appurtenances, and other items that are customarily incidental to residential uses, when not attached to the residence shall be considered accessory structures, shall be located to the rear of the rear building line, shall not exceed the height limitations for accessory buildings or structures prescribed for the zoning district in which they are located and shall be placed no closer to a property line than one foot for each foot of height as measured to highest point of the building or structure from the adjoining grade.
