"Rear Building Line" or "Rear Building Setback Line" means the line on a lot defining the front limit of the rear yard. The setback, or distance from the rear lot line to the rear building line shall be the shortest distance from the face of the building to the rear lot line including attached structures such as decks and other similar improvements but excluding permitted projections in accordance with Section 1183.10 of this Code.
