It shall be unlawful for anyone to burn, kindle or maintain the burning of any "refuse", "rubbish", "grass", "weeds" or any other combustible material within the town limits without first obtaining written or verbal permission to do so from the fire chief, fire warden or fire coordinator. The fire chief, fire warden or fire coordinator may, in his discretion, view or not view the material to be burned before granting permission to burn. The fire chief, fire warden or fire coordinator may prohibit any or all bonfires and outdoor rubbish fires when atmospheric conditions or local circumstances make such fires hazardous.
