6-3-2: DISTINCTIVE VEST OR ARM BAND; STOP PADDLE:
School crossing guards shall wear a distinctive vest, arm band or other clothing clearly different from uniforms worn by law enforcement officers, so that they can be easily recognized by the public. They may carry stop paddles with "stop" on one or both sides for the purpose of signaling traffic to stop. (Ord. 96-5, 3-11-1996)
