(A) The maximum number of vehicles for hire allowed to meet the requirements for the convenience and necessity of the public within the town are as follows:
(1) Taxicabs: 175;
(2) Buses/trolleys: 10;
(3) Horse-drawn vehicles for hire: 5;
(4) Limousines: 25;
(5) Low speed vehicles: 10;
(6) Pedicabs/rickshaws: 10.
(B) Licenses for each category will be issued on a first-come-first-serve basis. No new license to operate vehicles for hire in the town shall be issued once the maximum in the applicable category has been reached.
